Released in 2021, C-Punk is a fun title with a devoted fanbase. C-Punk’s free spins round is an exciting experience with a few different mechanics. The outer of these rings decides how many free spins players will receive while the inner of them awards a bonus feature.
The number of free spins awarded ranges from five to 20, and possible bonus features include removing 2x low-value symbols from the reels, removing 4x low-value symbols from the reels, adding 2x roaming wilds, and adding 4x floating wilds.
Wild symbols
C-Punk has a few different wild symbols. One of them, a “W” over a saucer, can be either stacked or not stacked on reels two, three, four, and five only. A purple symbol with two “Ws” is the more common wild symbol and replaces all symbols save the free spins symbol.
Wild fusion and respins
Respins are awarded when at least two stacked wilds land on the reels. During the respin, stacked wilds combine into one icon. This combination of wilds is termed a “wild fusion” and award a multiplier based on the number of wilds it contains. If two wild symbols are fused, for example, players win a 2x multiplier, while fused symbols containing three wilds award a 3x multiplier.
If another stack of wilds appears on the reels during the respin, another respin is triggered. Wild fusions are sticky until used in a win, at which point it spins off the reels. Respins continue until there are no more stacked wilds on the reels.
Drone bonus
Players have a chance to experience a drone bonus during regular spins. Drones can do many different things depending upon their location. This includes triggering wild fusion, triggering the free spins round, and changing a losing turn into a win.
